Lose 10 lbs in 10 Weeks! That's the challenge.
That's the goal, to increase exercise (walking/running) and decrease caloric intake to lose 10 lbs in 10 weeks. We'll see how it goes. I'm using a blog as a means to keep me on track and record my progress...or lack of progress. I'll try to write daily or as often as I can. The joy of unemployment is I should be able to find the time, right?
Caloric goals: 1800, my goal is to keep my caloric food intake under 1800 calories. I think 1500 calories/day would be to stressful. If I can keep with the 1800, maybe I can decrease for the last 5 weeks of the challenge.
Exercise goals: I have a suggested walking plan to follow, but I think I'm going to stick to 2 dog walks/day (50 min) and run at least 1 mile every day that I can (12 min). That pretty much covers all the walking that the program is suggesting. I could start at a higher level of the walking program, but I don't want to set myself up for failure. I'll be more motivated to continue if I am successful at this level. Maybe I'll increase my running during the later half of the challenge.
